Locked In
Its two o’clock P.M and the basketball game was going great
the Home team was winning with twenty-five and the visiting team was losing by
five points. At the end of the game every one got up and started to head towards
to the doors but that was interrupted by gun firing surrounding the building.
The first reaction was to start closing the doors but it was too late as the
gun men ran into the gem and started yelling at everyone to sit-down.
As everyone was sitting there startled not
really knowing what was going on, one person got up and asked what was happening
but that was a mistake, he was shot and we were not given an explanation. The
only thing that distracted me from the mess that was happening was this cartoon
from today’s newspaper, it was making fun of Mickey Mouse how he grew too big
for his home and had to move out and work in a freak show.
A few hours later they started to explain
why they were hear, they were doing this because they were cheated by the bank
and they wanted money so they took us as hostages and want a ransom of one
million dollars. Some more things they were talking about is how they would
shoot more people if they didn’t get what they wanted.
While the gun men stepped out of the room
one women stood up and started giving a speech, “These people are not going to
kill us, there are more of us than there are of them what we should do is get
up and run them out those doors.” After she got done speaking everyone started clapping
and cheering. The gun men outside heard them but it didn’t matter they were tackled
down and thrown outside of the building. All of the gun men were arrested.
